Hi. Thanks for being here.

There’s so much I could say about my life story, about the things I’ve learned, the experiences I’ve had, and the ever-evolving approach I take in my work (feel free to ask me anything!) And, I also know - we have full lives and things to do. So here’s an overview…

I spent a lot of my life feeling like shit, and then tried a bunch of things to help me feel better

I had years of eating disorder and undiagnosed anxiety and depression, along with so many physical health symptoms and “diagnoses” throughout my life (severe gut health issues showing up as SIBO/IBS, hormone irregularities labeled as PCOS/PMOS, skin conditions like acne and eczema, and more). Since I was young, most doctors told me things were “normal” and there was nothing wrong with me, prescribing me pills anyway. I knew I wasn’t feeling well, that the meds weren’t really helping, and I didn’t want to live the rest of my life that way.

I’m definitely not claiming to be fully “healed” — I certainly have aspects of health within my mind and body I am still exploring. And I can also say that I certainly feel way more present, connected, safe, hopeful, and alive in this body now.

The Enneagram and Somatic Experiencing both changed my life toward health

I tried a lot of traditional/western approaches to mental and physical healing, and they made some impact. And then things drastically shifted when I learned about somatics and the ego.

Once I could actually sense what was happening in my body, once I could see my patterns with more clarity, distance and compassion—it was game on.

I went off hormonal birth control. I went part-time at my corporate job, eventually taking a sabbatical and then exiting that world. I went outside and got dirty. I felt into depths of pain, fear, anger, and shame. I got vulnerable in relationship with others. I did some hard freaking work that was full of uncertainty, mess, and emotion. And I’m so grateful I did, and that I get to keep doing hard work for myself.

Supporting people with their healing in this time on earth is freaking weird

We are navigating so many factors in the systems we live in that are not set up for health. I’m constantly feeling into the harmony of supporting others and supporting myself. I know that if I’m not well, I can’t really show up for anyone else. And the reality is, I need money to feel well.

I am devoted to being real. To seeing and naming the truth in myself, in you, and our world. To keep growing, learning, and being humbled by life.

I’m not sure how you arrived in this space with me, why you might need to work with me, or what exactly we might uncover together, but I trust in your knowing, I welcome you, & I’m grateful to be with you
